Renovations
Peace & Joy! That’s our goal for your renovation process. Communication and planning are paramount to our process. We created a seven-step system to help your renovation run smoothly from beginning to end.
1 - Pre-Consult
A quick phone call to explain how we work and determine whether we’re a good fit for your project. No cost. No specifics. No commitment.
2 - Consultation
A meeting, at the site of your project, to discuss your dreams and intentions for the space. We determine the scope of your design and brainstorm potential design ideas. Our consultation is $250 for up to 2 hours, but is applied toward the cost of our flat-fee if we continue with the project.
3 - Trades Day
We gather our trade specialists and subcontractors to meet at your project, in order to provide an accurate design proposal. During this step, we also bring in a structural engineer and/or architect, as needed, to ensure the feasibility of our designs.
4 - Proposal
We discuss all the possibilities and specifics of your project and costs associated with each option. Renderings will be presented in this step, as well as floor plan and elevation options. We will also bring room boards and visuals - this is a fun meeting!
5 - Selections
You are invited to join us at our vendors’ showrooms as we shop for you project, or we can bring our carefully curated samples to your home. Many of our clients love the shopping experience, while others find it completely overwhelming. We understand, and want to do what’s best for you!
6 - Implementation
At this point, we have a design scheme and all selections have been sourced. It’s time to sit back and let the experts do their job! All of our hard work pays off, when we hand over your personal renovation manual, aka “The Book.” We perform site visits as needed, usually one to two a week, to ensure that our vision becomes a reality and interface directly with your contractor. We provide you with status updates, as needed.
7 - Wrap-up
We work to exceed your expectations every step of the way. Our hope is that this is the easiest step.
For renovations, we charge a flat-fee, based on a percentage of the construction budget. Half is due upon the signing of our contract and the other half is due at completion of the project. We prefer this method, so that we can comfortably maintain contact through the process without unexpected charges. Ultimately, we believe in transparency and integrity - no hidden costs!
Interior Design
We would love to assist with any of your home projects! We charge hourly for help with selections, assistance with floor plans, design inspirations or simply reassurance that your project is on the right track. Please contact us with questions or to schedule a consult today!
Renderings
We are happy to provide you with a visual representation of your space! For renderings, our fees start at $250 per space and go up based on the complexity of the design. We allow for two changes per space before incurring additional charges.
