Hi, I’m Erin Crowell…. Design is my passion. My obsession. It’s my vessel to make the greatest impact on the world. But, wow, it took me a long time to get here - 20 years, to be exact. My husband, Scott, and I renovated our first condo in Hoboken, New Jersey in 2006 and have been redesigning our homes ever since. We love the process. I never tire of looking at wallpaper, tile, lighting, plumbing fixtures... I love it all! Color. Pattern. Texture. Neutrals. Modern finishes. MCM. Antiques. Yes, yes, yes please!
Early in 2019, my friend who was studying to become a life coach asked me to be a practice client. It was a year of massive transition for our family and I’d decided, after consistent prayer, that I wanted to reenter the workforce. She asked me a million questions, and then point blank said “If you could do ANYTHING, what would you do?” I answered “Renovate houses!” so quickly, without any hesitation, that I surprised even myself. Shortly after, I put an “I’m looking for a job…” post on social media and was hired by a local design firm. I’m still in awe of God’s hand in this - y’all there’s no other explanation. To say I’m grateful is an understatement. Working in the design world immediately opened my eyes to how deep my passion is for helping people bring peace, function and beauty to their homes! During this short time I learned that I had a knack for creating digital renderings, which simplify the renovation process and keep everyone on the same page - homeowner, designer and contractor!
Elizabeth Meyer is named after our children, Claire Elizabeth and Cullen Meyer, and is dedicated to their future - I hope they will join the EM team one day!
I’m a firm believer in the Romans 8:28 promise (And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.) and rest assured that where I am today would not be possible without years of preparation and countless struggles and triumphs along the way. And, now, I stand ready and confident in who I am and what I was created to do. Create and serve.
